Every now and again we run across a well-written article by a passionate individual on the impact of trauma to children.
This former teacher and nurse, who is now a mother of seven children, has compiled her many experiences with children to write this compelling and well-conceived article that I think is worth sharing.

We have so many great caregivers of children who understand the need for trauma-informed care and a deeper level of understanding when we encounter children, especially those with some identified needs.
